Just off the jet and back on the North Shore! “Mecca”, the “Seven Mile Miracle” whatever you wanna call it, the North Shore of Oahu is the place where the entire surf world collides for two months. The Surftech crew made the five hour pilgrimage to Hawaii with big plans… we’ll be hooking up with some of the world’s best to find some waves and put the boards to the test. We’ll keep you posted on how that’s going. Check back here for updates.

With a truck load of boards we left Honolulu bound for the North Shore. Surf check, Lanis, Logs, Sunset… all looked pretty good. Solid ENE swell in the water. So where’d we surf you ask? Right behind the house. A wedging lefthander, no one out!
With the current running like a river, no food in our guts and light fading fast, we tossed the boards in the truck and raided Foodland. Not a good idea to grocery shop on an empty stomach after surfing for two hours… we had the cart full by isle 3.
Tomorrow morning up at the crack headed for Ehukai.
