Meg grew up in the suburbs of NYC - always active in competitive sports and a collegiate athlete. She spent her summers at Lake George, NY where water and mountain sports were a daily ritual. Meg immersed herself in boating, jet skiing, swimming, cliff diving, hiking, biking, kayaking and jumping on anything she could tow behind a boat.
After moving to South Florida in 2012, her passion for the water quickly guided her to SUP to take advantage of the endless summer days. After taking a paddleboard lesson, Meg began volunteering as a coach for the Special Olympics Paddleboard team. She was reeled into the race scene and became hooked after meeting people with similar passions in community development, outreach and philanthropy.
Meg is a certified WPA instructor and Tier 3 Special Olympic coach and would love to expand the elite women’s paddleboard community by inspiring young athletes to get out on the water.
